In 1956, McCrone Associates, Inc. was founded by Dr. Walter C. McCrone and a small group of dedicated and talented scientists. Under the direction of Donald A. Brooks, President & CEO since 1975, the company quickly gained its reputation as a world renowned materials analysis laboratory. In 1987, McCrone Associates relocated to its current facility in Westmont, Illinois, and continues to make ground-breaking advances in the field of microscopy. Today, McCrone Associates is a division of The McCrone Group, Inc., the nation’s Premier Microscopy Resource, and is internationally recognized as the world leader in materials analysis.
