Our 50th Anniversary

The McCrone Group celebrates its 50th Anniversary throughout 2006. We are very proud to reach this significant milestone having accomplished so much over the past 50 years and with such great promise for the next 50 years. The past success of the Group inspires me to reflect on our role with clients, and to challenge us to expand our relationship even further into new and broad applications of microscopy.

Our company vision to be “The Premier Microscopy Resource” continues to drive our culture, focus, and commitment to achieving excellence in microscopy and, especially, materials analysis. We know that our past and future success is a result of doing many things well and listening to our many valued clients.

McCrone promises that it will continue to be the leader at the forefront of microscopy by:

Providing professionals and scientists with the highest level of technical expertise and diverse talents;
Continually upgrading and expanding our analytical capabilities and training facilities;
Incorporating the insight and advice of world-renowned scientists, microscopists, and scientific advisors;
Reaching out to scientific societies for collaboration and professional association;
Improving worldwide microscopy capabilities to meet the diverse the challenges of the 21st century by sharing our leading methodologies and techniques through our College of Microscopy; and
Listening, understanding, and meeting the needs of our clients.

Our world-class headquarters along with the new state-of-the-art facility housing the College of Microscopy are scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2006. We invite all of our clients and friends to visit and see this unique facility. The College of Microscopy is dedicated to continuing to train microscopists, scientists, and teachers worldwide in the basics of microscopy to the many advanced techniques in modern microscopy. We would be delighted to meet with you and take you on a tour through the future of microscopy.
