FTIR Slide

The FTIR slide (or KBr holder) is used to hold various size salt plates for infrared analysis. By applying two thin strips of double-face tape to either side of the interior of the slide opening, the analyst can position and secure square, rectangular, or round salt plates from 6 to 20 mm. The slide measures 3 x 1 inches and is manufactured with a black, non-reflective surface to reduce stray light scattering. The FTIR slide can be used on most FTIR microscope stages.
