McCrone recently provided its equipment in the court proceedings of a wrongful death case. Dr. Cynthia Gardner, a forensic pathologist with the Office of the North Carolina Medical Examiner, was enthusiastic about the availability of a research grade microscope to discuss and detail evidence directly in the courtroom. According to Dr. Gardner, “The microscope in the courtroom made my complex testimony much easier for the jury to understand. And, the simplicity of the system’s operation made it very easy to use in the courtroom.”
