Heidi M. Talesky
Instructor | Hooke College of Applied Sciences
Heidi joined the cleanroom staff at McCrone Associates in 1997 after many years of clinical and medical laboratory practice. Heidi’s current responsibilities as senior research microscopist include micrometer and submicrometer-sized particle manipulation related to her work with environmental forensic samples; and she applies the same techniques to a wide variety of industrial samples including pharmaceuticals, foods, fabrics, dusts, polymers, and glass. Heidi rounds out her duties at McCrone Associates by serving as chair of the Safety Committee where she has been trained in the management of hazardous waste compliance as required by the USDOT, EPA and OSHA. Heidi also serves as a member of the Quality Assurance Unit. Her experiences as an instructor at Chicago’s Rush Medical College School for Medical Technology provide a valuable foundation for her responsibilities at Hooke College of Applied Sciences.
