Mary L. Stellmack

Mary has over 30 years of consulting and analytical service experience, with particular specialization in plastic and polymer analysis, and identification of contaminants in pharmaceutical and industrial products. Mary is currently a senior research chemist at McCrone Associates, where she utilizes light microscopy, infrared and Raman spectroscopy, gas and liquid chromatography, and micro-analytical methods for materials analysis. Prior to joining McCrone Associates, she served as vice president of Analytical Services for Bodycote Broutman, Inc. (formerly L.J. Broutman & Associates), a consulting company specializing in contract testing and R&D for the plastics industry. She has served on the board of directors of the Chicago Section of the Society for Plastics Engineers, and is also a member of the Society for Applied Spectroscopy, the American Chemical Society, and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. Mary’s research interests include development of new techniques for isolation and analysis of contaminants in various products.
