Matthew joined the chemistry group at McCrone Associates in 2023 as a senior research chemist. He specializes in the use of infrared spectroscopy, chromatographic techniques (gas chromatography/mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry), and microscopy for the analysis of client samples. Prior to joining McCrone Associates, Matthew was a forensic chemist/senior forensic chemist working in controlled substance analysis for over nine years.
