20+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Patrick joined the electron optics group as a senior research scientist at McCrone Associates, Inc. in 2024. Patrick currently focuses on microanalysis using light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry but has experience working with a wide variety of analytical methods such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, surface analysis using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Auger electron spectroscopy, focused ion beam processing, ion chromatography, X-ray computed tomography, and scanning acoustic microscopy. Prior to starting at McCrone Associates, he spent nearly 18 years working at an analytical laboratory in the automotive electronics industry.
